I let the student show me how they are trying to solve a problem that they may be struggling with and then I will make corrections or suggestions on how to solve the problem correctly. (read more)

While I was at Pitt, I also worked as an undergrad mathematics tutor as well as an after-school mathematics teacher at a local middle school.
