...Algebra 2 is very important as a lot of it are used in trigonometry, calculus, and statistics. Some students may feel the jump between Algebra 1 and 2 is quite large and I will help the student review the material already covered and show them how it relates to the new material in algebra 2. Calculus is the study of rates of change and may seem quite confusing. (read more)

...I was a teaching assistant in an introductory engineering class. I have also done a course in cadet teaching in which I taught math to 5th graders. I believe there is more than one way to explain math concepts so that if a student doesn't grasp the way it is presented in class, I can find an alternate way of explaining it. (read more)
...This can be because the instructor explains too quickly, or the class goes by too fast, etc. It does not really matter, we can identify the problem and start making progress right away.
