I meet students where they are, engaging in dialogue with them about their best approach to a problem and where they get stuck or intimidated. ...I’ve found that working on real projects and solving problems is a great way to learn by doing. Whereas when I took courses that involved watching PowerPoint presentations for 60 minutes, I would forget everything an hour after class unless I took extensive notes.
