...So when my daughter was was 6 months old I started graduate school. Thus, I worked as a full-time mom, employee, and a student. It was worth it--that fire and drive to help others learn and apply skills in the real world have not burned out. (read more)
...While in school, I tutored at and co-managed the Writing Center, taught writing workshops to entering first-years, and served as an editorial assistant at an academic journal. Additionally, I received two awards from my university for outstanding performance in my department.
