...With my BS in applied math and master's degree in applied math, my course work included Discrete Math in the form of Functional analysis and Modern analysis both as an undergraduate and specifically, at the graduate level. I successfully passed qualifying exams which included the above subjects. My background in the necessary theoretical proofs is strong. (read more)
...In Virginia, I raised 2 daughters and 3 sons, who are now anywhere from 21 to 38 years old. I coached and played many sports with these kids, which gave me an understanding of how to communicate with them, and at least a vision of their point of view. I love my kids, their friends, and found joy in watching them in their varied activities and growing into responsible young citizens. (read more)
