...In addition to teaching, I used my degree in Psychology to work part-time as a Mental Health Specialist. This experience has allowed me to build great rapport with my students and help them navigate any mental obstacles that may hinder their mathematical growth. ...I have taught from many different curriculum providers and feel comfortable assisting with homework and enrichment for grades K-6, I have my elementary education degree from Centenary College. While at MSU I was hired as a tutor through my university and was often commended by my supervisor for scheduling more appointments than almost any other tutor.
