...I have been using it professionally for years, because it is one of the math subjects that connects fully to the physical world we live in. That makes calculus very intuitive and easy to explain. What makes calculus difficult is that it requires strong math skills in foundational math up to the level of trigonometry, and any holes or weaknesses in those areas need to be addressed. (read more)
