...In addition to completing the course material above, I have also tutored two peers for semester-long periods in physics and calculus to help them prepare for AP tests that they felt underqualified for. Both students received a 4 or higher on their tests. These were one-on-one, in-person, unpaid tutoring jobs that occurred on a weekly basis for four months or more. (read more)
...I have also tutored elementary school through high school math at Mathnasium. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics, and can deliver understanding as foundational and deep as necessary, even for higher-level subjects. My goal in teaching is to build a foundational understanding of the subject matter, and not simply how it relates to a homework assignment, test, or other requirement. (read more)
...I loved having the opportunity to help those students, and now that I've graduated, I have greatly enjoyed continuing that work thorough this platform.
