I have taught one year of high school Algebra and one semester of college Developmental Math. ...I am passionate about all things biology related, from the inner workings of the cell to the complications of the various ecosystems. I also crave algebra and the stimulation of solving a math problem puzzle. ...I believe having a degree in the content are you are teaching is really important to be able to go above and beyond teaching the what to do and why you do the steps you do. If students understand the why of mathematics they can then apply it to different situations outside of textbook problems.
