After winning 2nd place in the Classical Association of Virginia (CAV) Latin III test, I earned a 5 (the highest score possible) on the Advanced Placement (AP) exams for both Latin Language and Latin Literature. ...I teach students how to make sure that subject/verb match and the importance of antecedents when using pronouns. My students learn that grammar is the foundation for their expressions, not simply rules that have no place in their communication. I teach students that grammar is a puzzle and my method is to show a student how to put the puzzle together to make many beautiful pictures. (read more)
