...Memorizing formulas has its place, but the act becomes easier when you dive into how and why they work. Math and physics are two subjects in which each new topic builds on lessons learned from those before it. When a student encounters difficulty, I find it useful to take one step back and remind them of what they already know. (read more)
...I first started tutoring/teaching my freshmen year in high school where I worked with Junior Achievement. helping kids, K-6, motivating and teaching them about entrepreneurial thought and business acumen.
