Hi, I’m Hajar, a Mechanical Engineering student at Virginia Tech, and I’ve been tutoring for over 3 years. I started in my second semester, helping fellow undergraduates, and later worked at the university’s Tutoring Center, providing both walk-in and one-on-one support. ...Once I find out what subject they are struggling with, I explain the lesson step by step until it makes sense on a conceptual level. When that is understood, I provide example problems or help them with their homework problems. After that, I check in with them and see if their understanding improved and if they would like an more questions answered. (read more)
