...I became very interested in geology when I was shown how South America and Africa once fit together before they diverged due to tectonic motion. Geology is an integrated science because it needs the foundations of math, physics, chemistry, and to a lesser extent, biology. ...This training has given me a rock-solid foundation in all the math subjects I teach.
