...I am passionate about all things biology related, from the inner workings of the cell to the complications of the various ecosystems. I also crave algebra and the stimulation of solving a math problem puzzle. I hold two master's degrees -- one in applied mathematics, one in physics. I started teaching math in 1999. While many of the intervening years saw me as a part-time adjunct instructor of mathematics, I did enjoy a full-time appointment to the math faculty of Alabama A&M University for 5 of those years. I have tutored students at various ages and levels, including GED students in a program provided at my church.
