Before graduate school, I helped a high school student to get advance placement in freshman chemistry in an Ivy League school. ...I cut back on my teaching hours in the late 1990's when my wife developed cancer (She's fine and healthy now), and I got into teaching online courses with AOL. When they closed their online class section, I tutored for them for a few years until that, too, was phased out. After that, I taught GED courses online, while going back to full-time teaching.
