Tutoring is a very cathartic experience for me as I help the student improve their understanding of the material. I just love hearing and seeing improvement from students that I tutor. I'm naturally an introverted person but when I'm tutoring I'm able to pull the extraversion out of my body to help my students reach their goals in the subject matter. (read more)
I graduated Albright College with a degree in communications and elementary education (kindergarten through sixth grade) in 2013. After college, I became a day to day substitute within the Spring-Ford School. I received a long-term substitute position for the next two years, and then received a 3rd grade contracted position in the fall of 2016. (read more)

...Tutors need to know the topic and explain it well and in multiple ways. Teachers take complex topics and break it down into simple and easy to understand parts. Teachers/Tutors need to be good listeners and effectively identify student strengths and weaknesses. (read more)
