...If you struggled in Algebra I, but managed to "just get by," you need a tutor for Algebra II. A tutor gives you the advantage of one-on-one instruction of concepts. It really helps - just ask my students. (read more)
...I am attentive to my students' needs and try to figure out a personalized approach that works best for them. A lot of times, the student might not be understanding the current material because they have some knowledge gaps in the previous material. So I would try to quickly identify any existing gaps and alleviate them. (read more)
...I find it important that a relationship is first built so that the lesson can be effective and the student can trust the tutor. After that, I present the lesson at hand, and gives a good overview of the science and idea behind it. Triangles and trig function are literally everywhere, from Calculus to Physics, to Computer Science, to Engineering they are even necessary in construction, and building yourself a deck, in your own home.
