I love to communicate with people, especially when I am helping them towards epiphany moments. I'm smart (I got 95th percentile on the MCAT), so I've often been a guy who other classmates come to for help. Engaged students are fun to teach and interact with, but I also feel I can keep the less interested students' attention for long enough to help them learn. (read more)
...I have been tutoring for over 10 years. Although my training is in secondary math, I have home-schooled a 5th grader and tutored a 6th grader. I also have 3 kids of my own, and have been teaching my daughter math who is in 3rd grade right now (although she is doing 4th grade math). ...I've helped multiple students with their course work in American History, including teaching effective techniques for developing research papers and preparing for the AP exam. Geometry is awesome!
