I have had a passion for teaching ever since I was in high school when I started helping out neighbors and family friends in Math. I always excelled in the subject in school and was able to synthesize the information and communicate it in a way that related to people who had a phobia about the subject. When I saw people overcome this fear of Math was when it felt the most rewarding. (read more)
...Pre-calculus is one of my favorite subjects to teach, and it's what kick-started my love for helping kids understand difficult mathematical concepts. It can be a really intimidating subject for a lot of students, so my #1 goal is to help them see it isn't as scary as they might think!
