...While I love the classroom, it is time for me to reach out to students in a one-on-one or small group environment. This is my favorite way to work with students in the classroom yet often becomes lost in the testing culture. Sometimes in a class of more than twenty students, individualized attention becomes almost impossible, and most students will not ask for help on their own. (read more)
...That "ah-hah" moment is especially fulfilling to me, because it's then that I know the student has grasped the information. Just as education is not limited to a brick-and-mortar room, teaching can be done anywhere there's an opportunity and a willing soul. Learning happens in many places! (read more)
