...Many years ago, while attending Gorton High School, I passed both the Algebra and Trigonometry Regents with grades of 100. My undergraduate degree in chemistry, acquired at SUNY Albany, required 3 semesters of both calculus and physics. I worked for the US Environmental Protection Agency in the Air Enforcement and Compliance Section for most of my career. (read more)
...I also did a lot of tutoring and learned quickly that all children learn in different ways and the key to their success was to tap into that difference and make it work for them. Sometimes i found that the difference was not just academic. Quite often it was the ability to help a child become more organized and more responsible for their own work. (read more)
I have a Bachelor's in Spanish from SUNY Albany and a Master's of Science in Teaching from SUNY Plattsburgh. I have been teaching middle school and high school Spanish for 10 years, though much of my experience deals with high school.
