...I feel that I have a strong intuitive understanding of calculus, which I try to impart to my students, so that it is not all about memorizing formulas and techniques. I love geometry because of its visual elements, and how it requires you to think in completely different ways. It seems as if every student does either a lot better or a lot in geometry than in other math classes. (read more)
...I have an undergraduate degree in Physics and a graduate degree in Astrophysics. The math courses I tutor were used directly and frequently in all my physics courses and in my research.
