I first started tutoring while I was in college. Initially it was simply help that I offered to friends, but I found that I enjoyed helping others understand ideas that they previously thought were out of reach for themselves. It introduces you to the hardest problems you can solve without calculus by combining geometry and algebra: constant velocity, average rate of change, slope, area, and some infinite summations.
