...Is a formal style or a simpler style appropriate for your reader? In the classroom and the newsroom I found that the best way to teach writing is to look at what the student (or reporter) has written and suggest ways it can be improved. Often this involves supplying more detail. (read more)
...I have had countless professors and teachers imprint a love for learning in me, and I want to do that for other students as well. I am constantly helping to tutor students in my classes at Berry and did the same throughout high school. In high school, a few teachers used me as their student aid and used me as a tutor for the other students in my class. (read more)
