...My personal favorite tactic is to ask leading questions to my students to guide them into answering questions themselves without giving away the answers. I believe when students feel like they earned their knowledge and avoid frustration, they can begin to start having fun with the learning process. ...That is my absolute favorite: when a student stops, looks at me and says, "That's it? It's that easy?!", and my response gets to be, "Yep, that's it!" Absolutely.The.Best.
