...I have tutored students in ISEE (Math). I use the Socratic or inquiry method of teaching so that students can arrive at their own conclusions and build knowledge. I taught Linear Algebra at a university this semester (Spring 2016). I will also be teaching Linear Algebra at a community college this summer. ...I'm available on Mondays, Thursdays, and weekends for most of the day, or on other days after 4 PM. I like helping people to develop an interest in the subject themselves, so that it doesn't seem like work when they're learning. I've found that the best way to become proficient is to really *want* to learn the material--not just to get a grade, but to expand your knowledge. (read more)
