...I’ve found that working on real projects and solving problems is a great way to learn by doing. Whereas when I took courses that involved watching PowerPoint presentations for 60 minutes, I would forget everything an hour after class unless I took extensive notes. So I try to have my students be as hands-on as possible during our sessions. (read more)
...During college, I worked as both a grader and TA for Precalculus and also helped tutor fellow students. Also, I volunteered to tutor young children through a program on campus for a year and have experience working with special needs kids.
