...I am not a disciplinarian. If the student's problem is more of a behavioral issue I may not be the best choice. But if the issue lies with an inability to grasp the subject I excel at finding alternative means of exploring the subject to create true understanding by the student. (read more)

...The most important part though, is that the students believe they are capable, which often they doubt. It is my job to make them see how much they can accomplish if they put their minds to it. ...Algebra is the basis to all of the math an engineer will have to learn. When I was a tutor, college algebra was the one subject most students struggled with making it the subject I tutored most. Therefore, making it the subject I was best at as well. (read more)
