...Geometry is a subject where visual learners excel and most students find it far easier than algebra. As a student teacher I spent an entire semester in a high school geometry class learning how to teach the subject, working through proofs with the students, and exploring theorems and postulates. Although I can help students in their short term goals (like homework or tests), my primary approach is to prepare students with a strong foundation in math to enable them to pursue STEM majors in college.
