For instance, a sports fan may understand the concepts of percentages better if it's explained in terms of number of free throws in comparison to total points scored. ...I have taught violin for 15 years. I was an Applied Math major and took graduate courses in Ordinary, advanced Ordinary, and Partial Differential equations (ODE, AAODE, and PDE respectively).
