...I am currently working in Dr. Jurynec's Lab, where we have identified over 100 candidate gene variants associated with osteoarthritis in large pedigrees. My work involves generating human cell lines, mice, and zebrafish carrying human disease alleles using CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing to explore how these genes contribute to the osteoarthritis phenotype.
