...A lot of tutors can understand how to use equations and what the variables in them refer to; but that leads more to an "intellectual" understanding. I want to give an understanding that you can "grab hold of," something that lets you know what that quantity or principle means. ...I'm currently a math adjunct and tutor at a community college, which I've been associated with for over 20 yrs. My specialty is math, which according to the MA DOE, is the most challenging content area for 95% of GED/HISET test-takers.
