...The kids I was tutoring were between 6-18 in age. After my year at Granada, while I was finishing my last year at California State University Northridge, I was volunteering at Northridge Academy High School helping the students that were struggling the most in Geometry. As a student at Penn State, I was a peer tutor at the Learning Resource Center for 3 years. Here, I tutored in Algebra, Calculus, Physics, Differential Equations, and Electrical Engineering. My work here earned me the Outstanding Tutor Award in Engineering, voted on by my tutorees. (read more)
