...In general, there are two things that get kids stuck in Calculus. 1) Algebra HARD. Usually algebra is where things go wrong, and 2) Calculus is the first real class that really requires a conceptual understanding of what you're doing, and not just memorization. ...I also enjoy working with students in a one-on-one setting as well! I am able to take my many years of experience and use that to help explain the math to students in a way that makes sense. A strength of mine is to take the concept and break it down for students using language that they understand and at a pace that allows them to truly grasp the concept. (read more)
...I might not have any experience with tutoring or teaching, but I have helped my siblings and my friends through multiple homework and test preps. I got awards for Precalculus and Calculus AB back in High School for being the top student in my classes. I was born in Vietnam and can speak, write and read Vietnamese fluently. (read more)
