...I'm familiar with Unix and Linux because I took a college course about Unix. For about 12 years, I used and administered a Sunblade 100 workstation from Sun Microsystems that ran Sun's Solaris 8 version of Unix. The iMac's current operating system, MacOS Sierra, is the one I always use at home, and Linux was my chosen operating on two other microcomputers I've owned. (read more)
I have a Bachelor's in Spanish from SUNY Albany and a Master's of Science in Teaching from SUNY Plattsburgh. I have been teaching middle school and high school Spanish for 10 years, though much of my experience deals with high school.
