...I have tutored many students on probability. Econometrics was one of my 3 fields in grad school. I decided not to specialize in it because I figured out early on that theoretical econometrics was a declining field and often too removed from practical problem solving but I took it as my field exam because it was standardized and I could rely on my mathematical background to do well.
