...One of the things I emphasize is learning how to do basic math without the use of calculators. Calculators are great for some problems, like say 23.98342 x .00498, or for statistics. Most students today rely on calculators to do the most basic of tasks, which sadly has robbed them of being able to complete problems that they learned in elementary school. (read more)
