...I believe any tutoring relationship starts with identifying the student's initial level of understanding. It is also crucial for the tutor to be welcoming and to proceed at a pace that is comfortable and coherent to the student. In the past, I find students benefit from visual guides and relatable analogies that assist in reinforcing more complex concepts. (read more)
