I love watching students work through the problems and come to the answers on their own when they never thought it was possible. ...I have tutored Algebra 1 at a community college for 8 years. Based on the students' votes, I received a Tutor Appreciation Award for my work with our Summer Bridge program. I am a graduate of Northern Vermont University where I received my degree in Outdoor Education. Much of our time in the program was spent teaching others how to build confidence and skills. I also worked with a middle/high school group at North Side Learning Center providing homework help.
