...I think I can contribute significantly since I have the business experience to go with the academic skills to relate to the students who may be in the workforce already. Having a child in high school will also be familiar with the current curriculum and methods of teaching. ...In 2014-2015 I tutored several students in college algebra and trigonometry as part of a federal work study program at ITT Technical Institute. Most sessions were 1-on-1 but I've also held group sessions with up to 5 students at a time.
