I was actually a tutor before I began teaching--I tutored summer geography classes while I was an MA student and loved the interactions with students. I'm pretty easy going but am quite good at setting goals for students that are achievable. I don't mind holding you to task if that is what motivates you, but I think this works best when you work to develop a love of learning in a subject area. (read more)
