...No student who qualifies for special education is a labeled child. I have always taught my children as I tutored them through school that the were not to listen to other people who tried to label them, they were "special" because they were smart and could be or do anything they set their heads to do. The only difference in them and other kids is that they have a "special" way of learning. (read more)
...Both of the schools that I have taught at have been low performing and in both cases I have been able to raise the scores of students in the content of English. While English is easily my strongest subject I feel that I am also qualified to teach History. Initially, in college I was indeed a History major. (read more)
...For about a decade I have been teaching photography and video, mostly at the college level, though I have also taught at a high school and through art centers. I have always had a love of language as well, and recently became certified to teach English as a second / foreign language.
