...Reading and writing are very closely related and both of these subjects support each other. There are five components to reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Reading builds upon itself and it can be very challenging to become a fluent reader if you have a gap in any of these five components. (read more)
