I have an M.A. in Jewish Studies from the Rothberg International School of Hebrew University, and a B.A. in Russian Literature from Reed College. I am also a returned Peace Corps Volunteer, who lived for several years in West Africa. ...I have plenty of teaching and learning material for many statistics concepts owing to my experience as a TA at Iowa. I took the GRE in December 2021, and scored a perfect 170 on the Quantitative section. I have tutored students in the GRE since 2023 and have practice material and resources for interested students. ...Teaching Style: I work well with students who are truly interested in learning the material. I find that I learn best when I understand where an equation came from and why it makes sense, so I teach my students the same way. Having a student memorize an equation will not help them to be better problem solvers or learn when to apply the appropriate methods in different problem types. (read more)
