...I am a strong advocate of Khan Academy where the student learns the lessons as homework and works with the tutor on solving problems. This is different from most public school approaches, which have mixed results. Developing one's ability to write clearly, uniformly and consistently is an essential skill in any culture. (read more)
...After each lesson, I provide a review document where I summarize key topics and write out step-by-step approaches to solving problems related to those topics.
