...I have had hundreds of students and I have yet to find one who did not have more than enough mental capacity to do both Algebra I and II as long as they are given adequate instruction and help with the foundations. My degree was very heavy on Chemistry and I have taught High School Chemistry. I am particularly fond of this subject and enjoy helping others discover how cool it really is. (read more)
...No two students are alike and everyone benefits from an individualized approach. I find that starting this way helps me focus on exactly what each student needs from me and avoids wasting time on lesions that are too advanced or too simple for the individual. For younger students I keep the session moving to maintain engagement including playing games to reinforce skills. (read more)
...On one test I scored a 34 on the reading portion. On the other I scored a 36. I have taken the ACT twice; both times I received a 34 on the English portion of the test. (read more)
