It all started with me being very poor at algebra in high school. I struggled a lot, till I got an excellent tutor who kept using different approaches to get the information across till we found the right one. I ended up loving my arch nemesis (math) so much that I went on to get a 730 out of 800 in my SAT math and I've used the same approaches taught to me to help struggling students. (read more)

...I love teaching, since I hold the view that it is an activity that goes both ways: you learn as you teach. I've been a university lecturer in the past for 2 years, and also tutored undergraduates at prestigious institutes including Cornell and Penn State, the latter being my alma mater.
