...Once a child learns one concept, the next concept builds upon the one he or she just learned. Every math concept builds upon the previous one, so if a child does not have a solid understanding of one particular concept, he or she will struggle with what follows after. ...For the past 3 years I have been tutoring students ranging in age from pre-k to 6th grade in all subjects. Currently, I tutor 3 students on a bi- and tri-weekly basis in whatever subject they need help in and tutor at least two other young girls in kindergarten and 1st grade on an as needed basis.
