...I use simple language, draw lots of pictures, walk them step-by-step, side-by-side, and, ultimately, make sure that they learn the concepts, not just the steps. The steps they'll forget; a concept, learned, they'll remember. They'll also be able to derive the steps from the concept, on recall. (read more)
