For those students that are more adept, I still care to work through the fundamentals to ensure a solid basis on the subject. Hector is a current medical student at UTSW. Prior to medical school, Hector conducted a research year at UCSF where he structurally characterized the interactions between a resistance protein and novel antibiotics to overcome resistance.
